Senior Construction Manager - Renewable Energy | Tokyo

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee battery energy storage (BESS) projects from planning to completion. Based in Tokyo, with some travel, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.

• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and local regulations.

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and manage project risks.

• Ensure timely project handover with final inspections and documentation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in solar, wind, or biomass projects.

• Japanese speaking skills required; English conversational level preferred.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
